Saturday's games
Wow, so the 76ers put up 141 points in last night's game against the Knicks and 19 of them were in overtime! Thats a lot of points in overtime. Its not an accurate depiction, but if they continued that rate, that would be almost 46 points in a normal 12 min quarter. Also, Ariza scored 33 points last night!! And he was 5-8 from 3's. In the first few games, Ariza's numbers (shooting & points) are a lot better than what Artest did for them last year. He is also doing his solid work on the defensive end. I just wonder if Artest will live up to the potential power he can be for the Lakers. His shooting for me is still way below what I would like. Ariza was a dependable shooter for the Lakers. Wow, Brandon Roy had 42 points in the game, being the great player he usually is. Houston is 2-1, doing better than what most people thought with no Ming or McGrady. One last thought, I love what Carmelo has done the first couple of games in the season. He is looking great and he should be a guaranteed All Star this year. Keep up the great play Melo!

If Houston makes it through the year without moving McGrady to make cap room I'll be surprised.
Worst thing about the 2009/10 NBA season...the 76ers uniforms! Put some trim around the numbers at least!!!
As a follow up...
Best thing about the season, the Bobcats somewhat new uniforms.
Whose team has the best uniforms in your opinion? Who has the worst? Who knows what they will do with McGrady, do they plan to start totally from scratch...I wonder...
Oklahoma City, Philly, and Boston(blasphemy I know) have the worst unis. Boston had a chance to do something completely out of the box with their alternate uniform, but instead got stuck with the aesthetically depressing green and black thing. The uniforms Boston wore last year when they got their rings(it was similar to their normal road unis, but had gold accents)were nice though.
OKC's uni's...garbage. Generic Uniform "A" from the catalog.
I'm mad at Philly because I loved their red and blue uni's from last year(the black was a bit much, but will forever be linked to AI). They made the minor change of adding that one tiny pinstripe down the side, and it made a world of difference. But alas the 76ers and 49ers both must have been reading "How to make your teams seems better by switching back to older uniforms and logos when your team was actually good. For teams with numbers for their name."
There is a log jam of teams in the middle with good uni's, but could use a bit of an update: Nets, Knicks, Suns, Heat, Spurs(never gonna happen), Lakers,Bulls,Cavs, and Mavs(but kudos for the blue once green alts.)
Then there are teams that have GREAT uniforms: Blazers(slight changes and a bit of silver went a long way), Grizzlies, T-Wolves, Kings(best colors in the league), Bobcats-home...and my personal favorites the Hornets and Magic.
The whole Clippers franchise needs to be reinvented, so the uni's are the least of their problems.
And last but not least, the team that I would not play for if they drafted me simply because of the uniforms...the Bucks. The purple ones were THE BOMB a few years back, but what they have now is a hot mess!!!
